Il progetto
Walkabout Foundation’s outreach programme delivers wheelchairs to people in rural and hard-to-reach areas of Kenya who cannot travel to their Wheelchair Assembly and Repair Centre in Nanyuki. Each outreach lasts around five days and supports an average of 150 people who would otherwise lack access to essential wheelchairs. By restoring mobility, they empower children to attend school and enable adults to work and better support their families, which enhances the overall independence of their beneficiaries.
