Since 1991 until the present, Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia has aimed at helping the poor and those marginalized sector of Cambodia through skills training and integral education of youth and children. All existing six basic education institutions, six vocational and technical schools and the Don Bosco Children Fund’s (DBCF) Project aim toward assisting the poor children and youth in their education, preparation for work to help them and their families get out of the circle of poverty as well as to contribute to the development of Cambodia. Other Don Bosco Centers started to open Kindergarten centers with the permission of MOEYS to provide early assistance in physical, emotional, and mental health to poor children in the vicinity, to prepare them better to enter into basic education either in Don Bosco schools or in other public or private schools.
