This project seeks to enhance the educational and economic opportunities for Christian children and young women, enabling them to achieve self-reliance and contribute to sustainable community development. It addresses two critical challenges in marginalized communities: school dropout rates among children and limited livelihood options for young women while also focusing on their overall health and safety in their areas. It also includes the mobilization of the Christian populated villages to help them come out of poverty by improving their socio economic situation as a whole.
The project will establish preschools that provide early childhood education to ensure a strong foundation for learning and reduce future dropouts. Additionally, it will focus on the re-enrollment of 90 out-of-school children into primary education, ensuring their right to education is fulfilled and equipping them with a pathway to long-term growth.
To address the needs of unskilled young women, the project will offer vocational and IT training to 135 participants, equipping them with relevant market-driven skills that enhance employability and self-reliance. To ensure sustainability, the project will also work on establishing market linkages for trained young women, connecting them with local and regional markets to maximize the economic benefits of their training.
By combining education, skills development, and market integration, this initiative takes a holistic approach to break the cycles of poverty and marginalization. The outcomes will not only transform the lives of children and young women but will also contribute to the broader vision of empowered, self-reliant, and resilient communities.
