Catholic Women’s Organization

Catholic Women’s Organization (CWO) is a non-profit organization established by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Pakistan. The idea was to see the Christian women of Pakistan succeed, playing an active role in all walks of life with leadership qualities.

The alarming reality is that women are increasingly falling prey to various forms of violence. This includes not only physical and verbal abuse but also psychological torment, sexual assault, marital rape, and heinous acts like forced conversions and forced marriages. These issues must be recognized and addressed to empower and protect women from injustices and violence.
